My name is Mia Barati, Licensed Massage Therapist.  I pursued a career in Massage Therapy after providing massage to friends and family for most of my life.  I graduated from The Academy of Somatic Healing Arts (ASHA - School of Massage), Atlanta, Georgia in 2006 with over 800 hours of education and Certifications in Neuromuscular Therapy, Clinical Sports, and Swedish Massage.  Then, I was recruited by the owners of the school to teach Hydrotherapy as well as manage and supervise the Student Massage Clinic for several years.

After my teaching endeavor, I focused more on my practice and completed additional education in Anatomy, Physiology, & Pathology at Lanier Technical College as part of their Allied Health Program, which allowed my passion for helping others to grow.  My continuing education has centered on techniques I truly believe will help my clients accomplish their goals.  I gained valuable insight working alongside various Healthcare Providers (including Chiropractors, Medical Doctors, Acupuncturists and more), allowing for diversity and honing of my education and training. This has led to my using more effective techniques in treating pain and dysfunction in the body while maintaining a relaxing experience.  My combination of training, experience, and knowledge has enabled me to accomplish better, more effective results in my practice than a typical massage.  I look forward to helping you reach for wellness too, call now!
